I don't know that everyone has received all the information. Sherry
sent this out but I am sending it again along with the show and sell
dates and locations that only few know about. If you have a location
set up let us know about it here so we can coordinate the number of
boys and times they attend.
This year we (pack committee) decided that scout accounts would be
established for each cub. This is a portion of popcorn sales money,
which can be used by the parent to cover recharter fees, or if
sufficient funds are deposited, cover other scouting activities, day
camp, webelos woods etc. This system would act as a extra reward and
incentive for popcorn sales, and is to be structured in the following
manner:
Every child that sells $400 in individual (not show and sell) popcorn
sales, will have their recharter fee paid.
50% of profit from all sales $400 -$600 in individual sales will be
deposited.
Every dollar over $600 individual sales will earn 100% of the profit,
which is standard 30% plus we receive an additional 5% bonus in
December, providing we meet certain conditions, for a total of 35% of
sales.
As an example, A scout sells $ 400 in individual sales would have their
recharter paid, but if he sold and additional $200 for a total of $600
they would have an additional $ 35.00 in the account,
Each additional $100 past $600 would add $35.
So a scout that sold $700 individual sales would have recharter paid,
and $70 for scout activities.

Please use this board to sign your boys up in 2hr slots. Contact me or
Sherry a couple of days ahead of time to collect/coordinate the popcorn
you will pickup. Remember tables, cooler if you want to sell chocolate,
drinks for you boys, snacks, boys must be in uniform, money box, signs
and tape is handy. Oh I almost forgot have FUN.

Sales were great! We did $386.48 in an afternoon. This brings the
running total for Show and Sell to $1416.48.
We only sold about $1600 for all the ones we did last year.
The Wal-Mart at 120 has NO shade and the small canopy we had provided
some shade but I strongly recommend going to Blockbuster or PetsMart.
I took 4 cans of the Chocolate and sold 3. It is popular. Remember to
bring caps, water and sunscreen.
