Hi all,
At our weekly meeting tomorrow night (Tues., 9pm, 72 Pro Row), Tufts UEP Masters student Rayn Riel will be presenting his thesis, "(Re)New Your City, New York City: Transporting Transformation Hubs".  Come hear  about how the New York MTA and other US transit agencies could develop their real estate themselves and reap the profits, much like Hong Kong's MTR already does.  Can't wait til tomorrow?  Read the entire thesis here.

Other upcoming events:
This Wednesday: UEP Colloquium, 12pm, Crane Room (Paige Hall) - come hear grad students Nathaniel Fink and Pat Kelsey discuss  “Urban Planning and Cycling in Copenhagen and Amsterdam: Lessons Learned" - also includes free lunch
Next Monday, Oct 19th: UP3 goes to Genzyme
Nov. 2, 12pm: Ted Schwartzberg of the Boston Redevelopment Authority will be giving a talk on the revitalization of Boston's Fairmount Corridor
Nov. 7: UP3 tour of South Station
