Hey guys!
Great meeting tonight. It was nice to see some new faces. I know some people couldn't enter the building since it locks at 8, so I'll see about maybe getting a room upstairs. Will let you guys know.
1. We're meeting at 4:30 tomorrow at the CC by the Joey station (hub!) to have dinner! We will see based on who shows up where we want to go - Davis, Chinatown, etc. If you have to leave early, no worries, but come to our first outing! One day we will also have some group bonding since everyone was interested in that, we can talk next week about it.
2. UP3/IPC Lauren Dunn urban policy event on Monday, October 29th from 12-1PM (location TBA). Join FB event:
https://www.facebook.com/events/127061774111390/. Come with questions! Information:
Join the IPC and UP3 in a roundtable discussion with Lauren Dunn, a Tufts alumna who previously worked on urban policy on the White House Domestic Policy Council and currently serves as Director of Policy & Programs at DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative. Lauren will speak about challenges and strategy in bringing change to urban neighborhoods, plus share career lessons-learned as an alumna 8 years out of Tufts. Come with questions and an eagerness to chat--this is an informal talk with plenty of opportunity to interact.
Pizza will be served.
3. Professor Hollander event (see previous e-mail for info). I will work on reserving a room for this and will let you guys know. Max is going to work on flyers and Michelle will work on general publishing, Tuftslife, FB, and so on (we can all chip in here too). Rojo will work on contacting the Daily. (Thanks so much everyone!!!). I'm sure TCU will be pleased by these proofs of activity.
4. Union Square: I hope you guys all enjoyed the Union Square PPT and the BRT videos today. Soon we should look into heading out there to figure out what we want to do ourselves, and then later contacting Prof. Stanton and our other limitless resources as advisors. My dream is that eventually we will actually be the ones speaking at our events as to what we've accomplished this year! :)
Thank you everyone!
UPPP, UPPP, and away...

PS: Michelle you're such a great publicist, thanks for posting on Tuftslife for us! I just saw it. We should do that every week :)
