Hi all,
This week at our weekly meeting, we’ll be hosting Ann Sussman, an architect who co-authored Cognitive Architecture.  She’ll be discussing how humans have evolved to favor certain urban forms and buildings - why do people stick to the edges of public plazas (or Hotung Cafe), and why are our brains wired to like symmetrical or face-like buildings?  Intrigued?  Join us tomorrow/Tuesday at 9pm, 72 Pro Row.

Next week, we’ll be hosting another guest speaker outside of our normal meeting time:
Next Monday: Boston’s Fairmount Line: creating jobs, investment, and livability
Nov. 2, 12pm, Eaton 203
Come hear Ted Schwartzberg of the Boston Redevelopment Authority discuss how the city is leveraging an existing commuter rail line to improve access to jobs and affordable housing, attract investment, and improve the livability of lower income communities.

Mark your calendars:
Nov. 7: UP3 tour of South Station
