So, I work for Zero Teen Fatalities. It's a program run by the Department of Public Safety/Office of Traffic Safety that specifically focuses on preventing teen motor vehicle deaths. To put it into a single sentence, it's a program that has HS and college students register, help spread awareness about safe driving and win prizes for doing it. For more info, please check out stayingundead.com.

They're hiring for another street team member up here in Northern Nevada. It's $10 an hour and events-based.. They understand that they're hiring college students, so they're really good with understanding schedules and general college life. Events can be anything like Drivers Edge, UNR/HS football games and other events in the community that OTS is involved with. They've been really good to me about my availability and lack of access to a car, just for a heads up. At events, you talk to interested students and parents about the program.

I'm the currently the only street team ambassador so I'm pretty well aware of the program. If anyone has questions, they can email me at mar...@nevada.unr.edu or call me at (702) 533-6197. You can also contact my boss Kevin Moore at kmm...@dps.state.nv.us.

If you're interested, you can send the Zero teen Fatalities Program Manager your resume at lpatt...@dps.state.nv.us. I can also forward her any.

Thanks!
Marissa
