Tomorrow's Meeting, Initiation, and McGeorge

Hi everyone,

 

I apologize for the late notice in getting this out. Tomorrow's meeting will be as planned with an attorney presentation. It will be held in JCSU room 317 at 5:30 pm. Cal Dunlap will be the visiting attorney. He is a civil law attorney in Reno, NV. I encourage you to find out as much information as you can about Mr. Dunlap so that you can ask him questions that interest you. Mr. Dunlap has worked on some great cases. He represented the woman in the case against Ben Roethlisberger, a quarterback for the Steelers, represented two victims in the Fallon Leukemia cluster, and is also former Washoe County District Attorney. These are just a few interesting things Mr. Dunlap has done. He has a great history so come prepared with questions!! He mentioned that he would like to direct the meeting toward subjects that you would like to hear about so be prepared to steer the conversation towards topics that interest you.

 

I really want to make these meetings great, not only for members of PAD, but for the attorneys who so graciously take time to present to us so that we can hear their experiences and takes on their professions. Therefore, please try your best to attend these meetings so that everyone may benefit from them.

 

Because of last week's power outage, initiation is now going to be held during the November 4th meeting. I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused anyone.

 

If you plan on attending the McGeorge trip, please plan on attending tomorrow’s meeting! I will be passing around an official sign up form. If you are not able to attend the meeting but still plan on going on the trip, please send me an email so that I can include you in my count. Please let me know if you have questions regarding any of this.
