"Guard your heart." This are words that many of us have heard
throughout our lives. We have even had the opportunity to say these
word ourselves. We have even taken the time to make it our goal to do
so. However, the question is, "Are we doing the will of the Father
when we make the decision to do so? In what manner are we guarding our
hearts?" Most of us have come to the decision that we are not going to
allow anyone in. When we decide not to let anyone in, we also make
another decision unaware. We don't allow the LOVE of God to go out.
Would God have us to guard our hearts? Yes. It is the desire of the
Lord for us to guard our hearts. Yet, the question is, "How would God
have us to guard such a delicate part of our being. It is the place
from which the truth of who we are flows. This is the place from which
the defilement or salvation of a man flows. For where your heart is,
there will your treasure be also.
It is the desire of God that we guard our hearts from the ways and the
wickedness of the world. We must be certain to not allow our endurance
of the pains, hurts, trials, and tribulations of this life to affect
our ability to remain in love as Jesus Christ did even to the bearing
of the cross. Had Jesus allow his heart to be affected by his grief
and sorrows, we would not know salvation today. The world would have
been destroyed and our very existence today would have NEVER been
possible. If he had ALLOWED his love to be hindered, he would have
cried out and God would have fulfilled His promise that if His son
should cry out He would send a legion of angels to destroy the world.
Jesus maintained his love and looked beyond the wickedness of the
world. He did it to the point that while he was yet hanging on the
cross, He looked towards heaven and said, "Father forgive them for
they know not what they do."
Jesus also prepared us for the very same seasons in our lives. He
said, "Know ye not that if the world persecuted me that it will
persecute you also." We must hold firm to the FACT that it is in
Christ Jesus that we live and have our being. We must ALL learn how to
bear our cross even without murmuring and complaining. For in
complaining, there is no victory, and GOD recieves no glory. God
glories and rejoices in our ability to endure. It is not about how
fast you are, how well you can quote the scriptures, and especially
not in any ridicule or judgement of the world. God is glorified when
we keep our conversation chaste, maintain compassion, hold onto Godly
(unconditional) love inspite of our persecution, and allow the world
to see our GOOD works. For these are the ways of God. These are the
results of our faith. Because we have faith, we stand on the word of
God and it is reflected in our conversation, our distributed emotions
one for another, and the way that we live our lives. Because He is
King (ruler) of our souls, our faith has works. If there is no
evidence of our faith, our faith is without works, and faith without
works is dead. In other words, it does not exist.
Therefore, my brothers and sisters in the faith, I charge you to work
deligently in the faith of Jesus Christ of which we have been called
unto repentance. Let your light so shine that men might see your good
works and glorify our Father which is in heaven. Don't guard your
heart in the ways of the world. For this is the manner in which the
love of God is hidden. Our love which is of God is what makes us a
light unto a dark world, life unto the dead, and salvation unto the
lost. How can we draw all men unto God if we sit our light under a
bush where it is hidden? We must be on fire for the Lord to the point
that if we ATTEMPT to put it under a bush, it will be so hot that it
will cause the bush to catch on fire and burn providing a light that
consumes everything in its path. In other words, we should have a love
so overwhelming, so strong that it will cause those who seem to have
no love to began to discover and show love. Jesus said, "By this will
the world KNOW that you ARE my disciples that you have LOVE one for
another. Yes, be certain to guard your heart, but make sure that you
are guarding it to ensure that you never hide or loose the love of God
that is within it. Hate those things which are not of God. Hate those
things that God hates. Yet, like God love even the soul that sinneth
for even THAT soul belongths unto the Lord. It is His desire that none
should perish, and on the day of judgement when the book is open, we
should not desire for God to find it written that we HATED another
soul rather than loved it even unto death.

If this information has given you a personal revalation, accept your
deliverance, and embrace the restoration of your Agape love. Remain
blessed in God through Christ Jesus. For it is the word of God that
delivers and sets free.

This has been a word from the Lord delivered through His servant who
has chosen to be a willing slave unto His will for it is my desire to
please the Lord. I am like John, one crying in the wilderness,
"Prepare ye the way of the Lord for he is soon to return for a people
without spot or wrinkle or any such blemish. Therefore, wash ye and
make ye clean. Wash ye in the blood of the crucified Lamb who was
slain for the sins and iniquities of man. When Jesus returns, will he
find the that blood he shed for you to be blood that was shed in
vain?"
