Many times we go about our day-to-day lives neglecting the Almighty
God of both Heaven and Earth along with His word. We wake up to a
brand new day after sleeping without trials all night long and rush
into our day that He has granted. We shower, wash our face, brush our
teeth, rush out of the door, and get into the car that He blessed us
with. We pick-up breakfast on the go with the money that He blessed
us to acquire. We hurry into the doors of the job that He BLESSED us
to work on, begin to utilize the skills and knowledge that HE blessed
us to obtain and retain. We scoff down the food that He blesses our
system to hold down and process. We return to the job that He blessed
to still be in business and keep us on staff. We rush off of the job
to visit and talk with the friends and family that HE blessed us to
have. We rush into a soothing bath that He allowed to be available,
and we are so drained at the end of the day that we rush off to bed so
that we can rush off to sleep. All the while neglecting to give HIM
the proper praise and honor due to such a glorious God. He is always
better to us than we are to ourselves. Yet, we neglect Him. With His
love, kindness, compassion, and mercy, He STILL wakes us up to see a
brand new day. However, He does not stop there. With this brand new
day, He grants us brand new mercy that we did not have to ask for and
fail to give Him praise for. We go about our day acting as if God is
obligated to do all that He does even when we disobey His
commandments.
Jesus lead the way as a marter for mankind and showed us how to
conduct ourselves; He said, "By this will all know that you are mine,
that you have love one for another." God showed us how to love first
when He gave the only Son begotten of Him. Then Jesus showed us that
same love . . . the greatest love which was to lay down his life for a
friend. Although, we crucify him afresh DAILY, He called us friend
and shed his blood to bring us into the adoption of the kingdom of God
to be heirs and joint heirs with him. He made us brothers and
sisters . . . children of the Most High God with the Greatest
sacrifice; he gave up the ghost that WE a nation of sinful people
might have a right to the tree of life and have that life more
abundantly. As we create our own disasters and some are thrust upon
us, Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us as
he has become our propitiation for sin. Some of us don't believe His
word fully and others not at all. When we should believe only, we
doubt. When He said, "Cast all of your cares upon me," we worry.
When He said, "Give no thought what you are to eat or to wear on the
morrow for the morrow will take care of itself," we ponder and cry
over what we don't have or what we think someone else took from us or
prevented us from having. He said, "Confess your sins one unto
another," and instead of letting our life be an open book so that God
can cleanse us all the more, we find ourselves continuously blaming
others for our downfalls rather than owning up to our own mistakes.
Yet, if we will only ask and believe, God will delivers us from all of
our trials and tribulations. Even when we don't ask and fail to
believe, it is yet GOD who is merciful and brings about deliverance;
we simply must come into the knowledge and understanding that is GOD
who has delivered us and not we ourselves.
When we truly understand that it is He and not we ourselves, we will
open the door for the One who stands at the door and knocks awaiting a
man or a woman who will humble themselves, open the door, and allow
Him to enter. When we own up to who we truly are in the flesh, and
submit ourselves in the spirit, then and ONLY then will we be able to
give Him the worship that HE requires. For His word says that those
who worship Him must worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.
Therfore, the question is, "Can you be honest with yourself about who
and what you truly are?" (And) just REMEMBER, that God DELIVERS.
