THE GREATEST LOVE

[God's Anointed Angel]

I found love in God, heaven and earth's creator.
It is a love for which there is none greater.
No greater love have I ever known.
No greater love can ever be shown.
The reason why I obey God Almighty's word . . .
This is the greatest love I've ever read or heard.
A love so strong He did what we could not do.
he gave His Only Son for the sins of me and you.
His ONLY Begotten was given to take our place
That if we just believe we might see His face.
His Son was spit on, beaten, and even crucified.
Yet, he asked God to forgive us before he died.
He knew not sin, but he took both yours and mine.
With nails in his hands and feet, he did not wine.
On that old rugged cross, he hung silently.
He did it so that we all might be set free.
Set free from our very own sin and shame
Because we believe and confess that he has came.
Not just that he came, but that he died and rose,
To cleanse us all with his blood stained clothes.
God gave His son to be the sacrificial lamb
So that our unworthy souls might not be dam.
His Son willingly gave his earthly life
To pay the greatest redemption price.
When Jesus gave his life for our sin,
He made us brothers, but he called us friend.
Yes. This was my Father's love
Which came to earth from up above.
