The Office of Multicultural Affairs is accepting nominations for the Humanitarian Award 2010 until Thursday, April 1, at 5:00 pm. The Humanitarian Award has been established to recognize and reward any UNCG-affiliated student organization or residence hall that has demonstrated social responsibility in responding to domestic and/or global issues. We will especially focus on projects undertaken between May 2009 and March 2010. The winner will receive a $100 award that will be deposited in their organization's established account as well as an engraved plaque.

The nomination process for the 2010 award closes on Thursday, April 1 at 5 pm. The recipient will be announced at the Excellence Awards Banquet on Monday, April 26, 2010.

Students, faculty, and staff may make nominations using the online form accessed by clicking this link: (https://studentaffairs.uncg.edu/forms/index.php?id=416). Groups may nominate themselves. A committee will review the nominations and make the final decision. The Nomination Form should be completed and submitted online before the Thursday, April 1, 5:00 pm deadline.
