Floyd - Criticizing a government official on Facebook or Twitter could see you sent to prison for up to 12 years. That’s the result of a newly-passed law called the Cybercrime Prevention Act. It even allows them to listen to private Skype conversations, take down websites and stop you from downloading music. Jann Medina is a 14 year old blogger -- and he’s started an urgent Change.org petition to get the law amended. He’s calling on the Chair of the Senate Committee on Science & Technology to take the lead in amending the law. He says that if enough people join his call, the Senate will be forced to act and end the suppression of internet freedom.
