Hello dear UMYF friends,
Kmusta po kayo? I trust all is well. I would like to personally invite you to an ecumenical gathering in celebration of KKKP's 25th Anniversary Launching. Actually naka-sentro po sa National UMYFP ang invitation but I'd like to extend the invitation to you so you can come and help us mobilize youths in your respective churches, district or AC to attend.
This will be attended by around 250 young people coming from different Christian youth organizations including UMYFP as one of KKKP members. There will be a liturgical celebration, forum discussions (on HIV/AIDS, Education, Peace Situation, Human Rights and Ecology) and Peace Concert.
Opportunity po ito for other UMYFers to get involved in the wider ecumenical circle and extend our ministry to different social issues affecting the youth. Naka-attach po ang letter, rationale, program and poster for further details.
Salamat! Peace and blessings - Ismac

Dear friends in the ecumenical circle:
This year marks a significant event in the life and history of the Kalipunan ng Kristiyanong Kabataan sa Pilipinas (KKKP) as we celebrate its 25th Founding Anniversary. Founded in 1987, KKKP remains a concrete expression of the ecumenical movement – providing a venue for unity among Christian youths and helping them realize their significant role in transforming our church and society.
With the theme “The Ecumenical Youth: Faithful in its Commitment in Upholding Peace and Justice”, we will be holding an Anniversary Launching program on October 27, 2012, Saturday, 1:00 to 9:00pm at the Cathedral of Saint Mary and Saint John – 277 E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City, Philippines.
The program will start with a liturgical celebration that will highlight the historical testimony of KKKP through the years and the affirmation of its role in the ecumenical movement. As this is also an opportune time to raise awareness among young people about different issues and engage them in the life-giving mission of the church, we have integrated a simultaneous discussion forum called “”Streams of Hope” that will tackle different topics concerning the youths. A “Peace Concert” will also follow in the night which will be graced by different artists and invited performers.
In this regard, we would like to invite you and your organization to be part of this historical celebration in the life and ministry of KKKP. We have attached here the rationale, poster and program details for your reference.
Thank you for your continued support to the ecumenical movement and we’re looking forward to your solidarity in this significant event!
For the National Executive Committee,
