The August 2nd meeting has been cancelled. The August 13 Ice Cream Social
is most definitely NOT cancelled! See Elizabeth's note below for more

We have decided that, since all is pretty much in readiness for the August
13 meeting and there are so many vacations and people out of town, we will
not meet on August 2. I plan to contact each of the subcommittee heads to
encourage them to attend the meeting on the 13th and man the spot where
their concept drawing will be. It will give them a chance to talk with
attendees about their area and to solicit more members of their groups.

Corky's will be supplying ice cream and fixings - is bringing tables and all
that is needed for a fun ice cream social at 2 prior to the meeting itself.
People will go into the church at their leisure with the presentations to
start at 2:45. Hope that this helps you formulate a message to everyone.
