Hello Global Medical Brigade Members!

Our medical brigade has been finalized and we are set to go on AUG
19-25 to Honduras! The executive board is currently in the process of
gathering resources and recruiting healthcare professionals for the
trip. We would like to take a quick head count of who is committed to
the trip. If you are still interested, please fill out this short

The next step right now is to finalize the roster and begin to order
plane tickets. We want to do this as soon as possible so we ask you to
fill out this form by Sunday May 27th. Filling out the form does not
bind you to the trip; we will make a final roster later.

Trip Details:
Where: Honduras
When: August 19 - 25
What we do: Set up a medical clinic, dental clinic, and pharmacy in
our assigned village. We recruit doctors from here and bring our own
medicine.
What you will do: Shadow doctors, take vitals, assist with dental
procedures, work in the pharmacy, teach Hondurans about healthy
living. No previous experience is necessary! This is geared towards
pre-health and public health majors, but anyone can come on this trip.

Of course, it’s not all work. We explore the country, have a day for
shopping, play with kids at the orphanage and even have a fiesta night
(with a DJ!). We stay at the beautiful Rapaco Ranch.

Cost: The program fee is $750 and includes all meals, lodging, and in-
country travel. The plane ticket price depends on when we book. In
total, expect to pay about $1500 (program + roundtrip plane ticket) at
most.
