Information about the brigade

Hey Guys,

Just want to let you know a little about the brigade this summer
because some of you asked.

WHEN: July 31-August 6
WHERE: Honduras

The brigade will be setup at either a school or church in the village.
We will assist doctors assigned to us by the national board. We
interview patients to record demographic, vitals, complaints,
diagnoses and prescription information into their personal medical
record. Patients will be consulted, treated, and prescribed
medication.

On day 6, we will do sightseeing and souvenir shopping! Day 7, we will
pack and leave first thing in the morning.

The program is $750 per person and we will then find (hopefully cheap)
airline tickets through the Maryland study abroad office. This should
range from $400-700. Lodging, food, and sightseeing fees are all
included! We will try to come up with fundraising activities to help
fund the trip but since school is almost over and people will be
leaving for the summer soon I am not sure how much fundraising we will
be able to do.

There is also the option of going during Winter Break which would give
us more time to fundraise. Email me back with just "summer" or
"winter" to give us an idea of how many people is interested in going
this summer.
