EnCo Weekly Update (March 29-April 4)

Hey EnCo!☀️

I hope you've been getting outside and enjoying the short stretch of nicer weather. At this week's meeting, we will be making buttons! This will be so fun and we can wear the buttons we make during our Earth Week Extravaganza. All materials will be provided, unless you have colored pencils/markers you would like to bring. Thursday, April 2nd, 7-8pm in IMU Room 245. 

Other Events: 

As we approach Earth Month, events and activities will be piling up. OSE has an Earth Month Hub that stays updated with university and community events here:https://sustainability.uiowa.edu/events/earth-month. 

This Saturday, April 3rd, EnCo is having a thrifting social. More details will be coming soon with a signup sheet through the GroupMe (linked at the bottom) and at our meeting. 

Weekly eco-goal: try to be more mindful about your single-use plastic bag consumption, like by keeping reusable bags in your car for getting groceries.
