At this week's meeting, we will start planning Earth Week for April. As always, it's this Thursday from 7-8pm in room 347 of the IMU.

It's a busy time in Iowa City! Check out these amazing opportunities. 

• Friday, Feb 6, 6-7:30pm: “Raiding the Heartland: An American Story of Deportation and Resistance”, in Iowa City Public Library, sponsored by the Iowa City Human Rights Council in partnership with Prairie Lights. Bill Lopez and Alejandra Escobar discuss his new book, Raiding the Heartland: An American Story of Deportation and Resistance.” (with refreshments, register online)
• Saturday, February 7, 9-11:30 am: Johnson County Food Policy Council’s 11th annual public forum,“Our Food, Our Future: Community Voices on the Food System,” at Dream City (611 Southgate Ave, Iowa City). Register online
• Saturday, February 14, 11am-3pm: Iowa City Repair Cafe at the Eastside Recycling Center.
