This Thursday, Nov. 6th, we will be seeing the IC Sierra Club's screening of Iowa's Dirty Secret: the True Cost of Burning Coal at The Chauncey FilmScene at 7pm. 🍿🎥🎬

The event is "pay what you can" to the event. 

November Monthly Challenge: the new monthly challenge is use a reusable bag. Send a pic of yourself out with your bag to EmmaJean or Kate in the GroupMe to be put in the raffle drawing at the end of the month :)

Other Things

Go out and vote tomorrow in the local election! Tuesday, Nov. 4th there will be 27 polling places open in Iowa City from 7am - 8pm. If you have an address in Johnson Country, you are eligible to vote! The Rec Center is one of the polling places available (309 S Madison St).

Weekly eco-goal: bring a bunch of reusable bags with you to the store! I love seeing all kinds of people bringing bags as a normal habit nowadays.
