Hi EnCo!

Happy almost fall break 🍂🍲🥫!

This Thursday, November 20th, 7-8 pm in room 347 of the IMU will be an EnCo debate night! There will be a few topic questions ranging from agriculture to cleaner transportation. Check out this link for the slides. Prepare yourself with some brief research or just come with your own knowledge. We will split into random teams at the meeting. 

*There will be no meeting over Thanksgiving break*

November Monthly Challenge:  use a reusable bag over break! Send a pic of yourself out with your bag to EmmaJean or Kate in the GroupMe to be put in the raffle drawing on December 4th 🛍️

Enco Class Recommendations 

If you have any particular classes you liked that are somewhat related to the environmental/sustainability field add them to this list if you can! This makes it helpful for EnCo students picking out classes now or in the future to see what courses other students enjoyed (with similar interests). --Linked in title--

Progressive Victory at Iowa (PVI) Democratic Debate

On December 3rd, at the Iowa City Public Library, 6:00-7:30pm, PVI will be moderating a debate/discussion with the democratic candidates for Iowa's first congressional district (general elections in 2026). Here is a flyer for the event:

Weekly eco-goal: I know Thanksgiving is right around the corner... so I will encourage you to try a meat-free or even dairy-free recipe with your family. If you wanna go the extra mile try a stuffed tofurkey! They're so delicious and have traditional stuffing in the middle (I like the Gardein brand).
