The Virginia Association for Biological Farming and the Blue Ridge
Permaculture Network is sponsering a talk by Joel Salatin entitled
"Creating a Local Food System the Works" on Saturday evening
(7-9pm), March 14th in Charlottesville, Virginia. The suggested donation
for the event is $15, which goes to support the Blue Ridge Permaculture
Network. Joel Salatin is a third generation alternative farmer, creator
of Polyface Farms, and author of books such as "Everything I Want to
Do is Illegal," "Holy Cow and Hog Heaven," and
"Family Friendly Farming."
