GARDEN Meeting tonight @8! Please respond!

Hello all!
Hope you've had a lovely weekend and have enjoyed this nice weather as much as our little growing veggies have! I know everyone has a ton of work in these last few weeks of school, but because we didn't have a group meeting to discuss the garden last week with Easter festivities, I think it would be good to get together and gauge how watering is going, when we can have another bed-building work day, summer leadership, composting, and additional planting layouts.
SO please email me back if you can come, or if not, any questions/comments that we need to address. I'll be at the Sally Brown Reading room at 8pm regardless, so whoever can come, PLEASE try to take the time and meet, I promise it won't take long. Remember how hard we worked for this garden, and now that we have it, we want to make sure it is a success!

I can't make it to the meeting, but I did want to say something about the watering. I think it's important to make sure everything is well-watered, but we might want to wait until the beds are dry before watering each time, otherwise the plants' roots won't grow down into the soil and they won't be as well equipped if they do happen to not be watered for a few days. Also, I am interested in getting more involved and maybe taking more of a leadership position next year when the fourth years have moved on, and was wondering when people were going to get together to discuss this. Anyway, guess that's it for now.

Hey guys,
Sorry for responding so late--I can't (couldn't?) make the meeting, but there is something I wanted to bring up:
I'm on the 9 am Sunday shift (for which there are only two people--I ended up watering by myself this morning, which took about 45 minutes; another person would be great). At 9:00, O-Hill is not open yet, so I've been going to Recycling for water... which is a bit of a long haul when carrying two heavy buckets, and thus it takes a long time and I end up sloshing out half of the water. What has the Saturday 9:00 group been doing about this, particularly since nobody on the shift has a key to Recycling, like I do?
