Howdy!
Want to stir up controversy just by standing up for liberty? Come to our Fall Kickoff this Thursday, September 27th, at 8:30pm in Reitz Union rm. 346.

Join us for an hour, as we give an overview of some of our plans for this semester, and seek those interested in helping out with them, such as:
** hosting presidential candidate and Congressman Dr. Ron Paul's visit and speech at UF
** helping to publish The Liberty Sentinel, a North-Central Florida newspaper founded by our members. ( http://www.libertysentinel.org)
** debating the socialization of health care against Dr. Himmelstein of Harvard University, co-founder of "Physicians for a National Health Plan."
** pushing to allow students to conceal carry their guns on campus (We've already gotten media coverage on four different news outlets!)
** hosting Dr. Jim Lark, past-Chairman of the Libertarian National Committee, to come speak at UF.
** holding talks on the philosophical foundations of Libertarianism, it's application to a range of issues, and how to effectively communicate the ideas of liberty
** and any ideas which you may have.
We also be going out for dinner afterwards.
