optical discrepancy

The immediate visual effect is obtained by manipulation of space and depth, with the use of anonymous forms, geometric and precise, that are cause of optical illusions. I define my work now like fiercely anti-nostalgic. and anti-sentimental and with a total refuse to what is considered "beauty" and the emotions such a doubious impression produces. I say that superboogie promotes a dynamic image from a "disagreement" between figure and background, who's bad relationship produces a contradiction between the two plans. And at the heart of this' discrepancy' is where the eye is trapped. So, what counts for me is the place between the image and the eye - tho only and last frontier wich still remains interesting for an artist. not compromissed with good taste.
