CERT - Event in Dearborn - Information Only

Note the following event Saturday in Dearborn.  NOT A CERT CALL OUT.

 

However -- if you are free, this may be an opportunity to practice scanning crowds, looking for people in trouble, looking for people causing trouble, being a good witness, signs of terrorism, etc...

 

Besides - there will be puppies.

Good morning!

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter's annual Mutt Strut & Pet Expo, a pledge-driven dog walk followed by a celebration of dogs. The event is free of charge and is 10-3 at Ford Field, between Michigan Avenue and Cherry Hill, reachable by Monroe or Brady. There will be a lure course your dog can try out, agility courses, a large above-ground pool set up for dock diving (which your dog is also welcome to do), lots of dog-and-people games, food vendors (for both people and dogs), homemade dog treats for sale, pet-supply vendors, free samples from dog food companies, and adoptable dogs from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.
