Hello all:

Wish I was writing to share better news...however, I felt like I had to reach out and connect with everyone.

I am not sure if you all have heard that Miri (Neuman) Goldstein was nifteres last night. I live around the corner from her in Far Rockaway. I honestly just have beautiful memories of her from the time we all started out together as young married girls in TTI in E"Y, until now seeing her occasionally around Far Rockaway. There was something very royal about her- with her sweet, quiet and calm demeanor. It is so difficult to let this go by, as we shared a piece of our life together in a way. Perhaps we can all do something. I don't know what. Write to the family, say some tehillim, take something on together...etc.

Let me know your thoughts and may we only share simchas and good news with each other.

Oh my goodness Malkie! BDE….That is such sad news! I’m so sorry to hear this.
She was a very sweet and regal person- always very poised. I also remember that about her. Maybe we can take something upon ourselves in her zchus. Maybe we can learn shmiras halashon or something for the aliyah of her Neshama? I would say we should all do something in person together, but I live in Florida now, so iyH we could do something together from afar.
We should only share in simchas iyH
Thank you Malkie for reaching out and letting us know so that we could do something 🙏🏻❤️ Sending my love and deepest condolences.
Love,
DeeDee

Miri was such a special person :(

Like you said, so regal, so poised, always so beautiful!
I especially admired the way she worked so hard while supporting her husband's learning.
And she always had such a positive outlook on everything.

I am finding it hard to go through my day while thinking about it. I am so sad!

Hahsem should give her family koach to get through each and every day and may we all be zoche to see the coming of Moshiach and techiyas hameisim bekarov!

I would love to do something collectively l'iluy nishmasa!

Besoros Tovos!

This is so painful to hear. Miri was special, beautiful, modest and so so much more that it is difficult to articulate. Her true greatness shines through the impact that her loss is having on all of us.  She should be a meilitz yosher for Klal yisroel.
I also would like to do something collectively liluy nishmasa.

Have a great day!

The pain of losing such a special friend is beyond my expressive abilities......
Miri was so positive throughout her sickness, always so thankful and positive for what she had, always so focused on her family and doing what is best for them.
I dont remember her ever getting overwhelmed. Her calm demeanor, along with her ability to do it all- hold down a job and raise a growing family in EY, as well as her positive attitude is constantly on the forefront of my mind as I go about these day...
Our years together as a class when we were young newlyweds is still so fresh and brings back fond memories.... May we only share simchas together
I would love to be part of something Liliuy Nishmasa as well

I was always taken by Miris humbleness despite the tremendous kochos that she had. She was so driven, so capable, so incredibly positive and so devoted to her family with such simcha always. And still she was so unassuming, so humble and so kind. Miri was such a beautiful person inside and out.

Are we taking on something together as a group or is everyone taking on something personal?

Thank you all for responding and sharing your feelings.

I think it would be nice to do something as a group, l'ilui nishmasah.

Trying to think what we can do together, practically speaking as some of us are in E"Y, or diff parts of the U.S. ...

Perhaps learn something weekly from a book/sefer on being positive, happy, thankful to HK"BH?

Or perhaps taking upon ourselves until rosh hasHana to light candles on time for those of us who struggle with that and for those who always light on time than to light a minute or two early.
This is a woman’s mitzva and could be a big zechus for her Neshama. (the weeks that we don’t make it on time it, the effort should serve as a zechus as well )
Just an idea

Wow, this is so shocking and painful! Miri was so modest, regal and always so positive! She was there for anyone who needed class help (for those with sinking ships), a last minute run through before an exam, or assistance with projects etc. She was so capable yet so unassuming and easily approachable! It is so hard to comprehend how someone so full of life can have A"H attached to her name...
I would love to be part of something L'illuy Nishmasa!

I am completely in shock to hear this news. I have such wonderful memories of Miri; I’ll always remember how she went out of her way to pick up a wig for me! She was truly such a kind and incredible person who was always so happy to help others.

I would love to participate in whatever we decide to do together as a group.

I was also thinking that if we would do something like this then maybe we should also aim to make sure that shabbos is brought in bnachas and bsimcha?

Have a great day!

I love the idea from Sara Dana and Baila- lighting on time benachas and besimcha ❤️ And that if we don’t succeed the effort itself should be a zchus…

Yes, lets do it. Such a beautiful idea. How can we be in touch with each other about this?
