Hi all,

I can not be assigned to any nodes or processors since several hours ago, even if just for 5 minutes and 2 nodes, 2 processors. I always get the information: qsub *** apparently deleted  after I typed the qsub command. Does anyone have the same experience? I am wondering whether it's because too many people are working on triton.

Thanks very much.

Try checking your quota, I got the same error because my account never had any hours allocated to it. The command is  gbalance -u username

Kyle

you can use gbalance to check the remaining hours assigned to your account. I had the same problem days ago and I ended up begging Stefan for some extra hours...

Yes. That's the problem. Thank you guys so much.

Does that mean we are supposed to  finish the homework in that  time allocated?

Thanks,
Huan

No, you can get more, just email Stefan (or he will probably already know when he sees this), and he will give you more.

If you have a partner just use their account until then.

best,
Kyle
