Room for Next Quarter and Winter Events

Hey guys,

 

I trust that break is going well, I wanted to bring up some business for next quarter.

 

First of all practice next quarter will be in our favorite room, HH100 @7pm on Wednesdays.

 

 

Next I would like to discuss what events we want to go to next quarter. UCSD seems to be holding two events in February:

NAQT SCT on 2/4 and ACF Regionals on 2/18. I would like to go to at least one, but we need decide soon if we plan to go to Regionals because the packet no-penalty deadline is on 1/22. 

 

Personally, I always have fun at NAQT events and think that the odds of us getting the will to put a packet together in the next 3 weeks is not all that high.  But if that is what people want to go to, I will be happy to contribute to one.

 

 

Finally, what is the status of Baby Anteater?  I know we have been working with EHS to host it there, but I have not seen anyone posting about it on the forum and we are unlikely to get much from Cabrera until the last minute (he is on paternity leave).  Dwight have you gotten schools to commit to coming, and what do you need from the rest of us?

I would like to play one last SCT and Regionals before semi-officially retiring (I will probably still be here for another year but do not anticipate playing much if at all in 2012-13). I will write what is needed for the packet and I think we can probably get it done in 2 weeks.

Will we have practice tomorrow?

I have work tomorrow evening so could not attend practice were it held.  However, I will be happy to help write a packet.  

 

If you can give me a distribution of what you would like me to write, I will get started on it tomorrow.
