Hey Guilders,

A belated congratulations to a successful Meet and Greet last week, some of the fruits of which are included below. Thank you to everyone involved.  Please contact me if you or anyone (in the law school) you know would like to get hooked up with a paid position working on prisoners' rights. I don't know the details but I can put you in contact with those who do.

Anyway, what is forwarded below is a message from PUSH (People United for Sustainable Housing) who would like to do an informational meeting with students this Spring to plan something looking ahead to the Fall. Their agenda and the issue of interest is that there are David Smith of the  Advisory Board to the Dean of the law school is also Pres and CEO of National Fuel, thus the law school may be an effective way to get National Fuel's ear. I suggest that we invite PUSH to come next week, perhaps table during the day if they want, and then have an info meeting for students around 4:30 or 5PM. It may be the last meeting of the semester where we can wrap up loose ends too. What do you say? Any suggestions on a better day than Tuesday? We have been consistently excluding some of you by meeting on Tuesdays....

Let me know, we should act on this quickly. And again, thanks and congratulations on a nice little event we had last week.

Best,
Sara

Hi Sara,

Thanks for having us at the meet and greet last week! I thought it was a really valuable event well organized event!

We talked a bit about trying to get together and make something happen around National Fuel's association with the Dean's Advisory Board. I realized that May is only two weeks away so maybe what may make more sense is to try to have a joint (get to know you, get to know the issue) meeting in the next two weeks about the issue and lay the ground work for next semester.

Does that seem like a more doable goal?

Hope you are doing well!
