Developers ,

How is the project status in respect to the last reported development
stat?
What i am most curious about is if there's any progress in the
horizontal transition to level flight and "orthogonal" stabilizing and
hold, and of course the head hold implementation of Bill's
magnetometer algorithms.

I am going to make an effort to implement HIL support in the MP-H
starting when a few "issues" with the HIL plugin are pounded into the
ground. No promises given, but I'm going to give it a serious try.

If anyone else has started this process it would be nice to know about
it. I hate doing something that's already been done better by someone
else, especially since my energy levels are low! (forgot to recharge
my batteries this "summer").

Best regards

Marcus

Hi guys!

I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm still hoping that instead
of porting the HILSIM code to MP_heli, that you'll port MP-heli to use
libUDB and libDCM. (You can look at the updated Roll Pitch Yaw Demo
code for an example of how to do that.)

Then you'll get all the DCM improvements, dead reckoning, HILSIM, UDB4
support, and many other future enhancements for free. And it should
simplify the MP-heli code too.

The libraries may need a few enhancements to support any new hardware
or DCM features you guys are using, but those could end up being
useful to fixed-wing pilots as well.

I'm also up for teaching/explaining/coding to help make this happen. :)

Okay, done with my spiel for now.

OK Ben,

I'll have a look at it. I'll try to get a little more involved and
take my responsibility learn a little more about the MP and maturing
process that is going on. Will do some serious code reading on the
subject as suggested.
