Type Museum in quietly unannounced re-branding - now The Type Archive!

Attempted visitors will now find that the former Type Museum at 100
Hackford Road is now signed The Type Archive and has a new web address
typearchive.org.
There has also been another attempt to get planning permission for
conversion of the first floor of the site to residential property -
which as we have commented before would most likely mean the end of
Monotype manufacturing on site if granted.
The Type Museum Trust has been filing more up to date returns to the
charity commissioners but has made no other public statement as to its
future intentions that we are aware of.
