Hi All,

We are considering porting Tycoon to Scientific Linux. Does anyone
have a feel of which version of Scientific Linux is the most popular
in use today?

Thanks,
Savio

For which purpose?

Egee uses 3.x now, since middleware are not ready for 4.x

Thanks Rik.
Actually we are looking at extending support to some of the popular os
versions which tycoon-users use to run their jobs.

We're using SLC3 (Scientific Linux CERN 3) in EGEE here at CERN.
However, our plans are to move to SLC4 in the future.

Cheers.

Hi,

I can provide updated version of initrd for SL308 network installation
under Xen environment if needed. (Note that there is SL and SLC(Cern
version))
