Hey all,
Where do you get batteries around Minneapolis?
I see farm and fleet may have some. Pretty far from my house though.
Bike shops are usually pretty expensive.
Time to break the BSA and the Yamaha out of their winter slumber.
Thanks,
Mark

I'd call Midwest Motorcycle in Minneapolis http://www.midwestcycle.com/home.php or Bob's Cycle in St. Paul
http://www.bobscycle.com/ and compare prices.

Jim picked the 2 best local choices, if you can wait for it, these
guys have great online prices and give free shipping on a $75 order.

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/

If they are only a couple of dollars support the local biz.

I agree with Bill. I'm into supporting the local shops. I go to
Midwest and Bluecat. Midwest generally always has what I need and
Bluecat does most of the time. If I have to order anything, it comes
fast from either shop.

I just prefer to give my money to someone I know.

Me too, for sure.

I started going to Bob's Cycle when it was not much more than a garage over on Rice Street. It was the only place I could find Bel-Ray stuff way back when. They have really thrived over the years, especially their catalog department. I still see a friendly face most of the time I go there.

I like spending money at Midwest; been meaning to get over to Bluecat.

These are some hard times for the businesses that sell us motorcycle stuff.

I'll check them out. I've been meaning it to Bluecat since I saw that
R5 the had at Bearded lady last year.
I got used to paying $12 for my R5 battery at Illinois battery. So
some of the prices have scared me off. $50 seems a bit steep for a
non Yuasa battery.
I'm moving to Lake and Emerson so I should be able to make it to
Dulonos more often this year. Hope to see ya'll there.
Thanks!

I run a scooter battery in my rd350 and it cam from midwest cycle. It
is great it holds a charge for ever and it is half the size of the
stock battery.
