To make sure that we keep our communications lines open, these are the lines that I use:

1) turb...@googlegroups.com for developers

2) turboc...@googlegroups.com  for consultants and business matters

3) The Wiki for policy issues

4) The Forum for end user support issues.

All of these options are join able from the main page of  http://www.turbocash.net

If you are really interested in the TurboCASH project you should be active in all of the above

If you are interested in  Development you should follow:

5) The sourceforge trackers for development tickets.

If you are interested in translation you should follow

6) The Document tracking project

Revenue from the TurboCASH project

1) Training and consulting. This remains an individual thing.  We do not try do a Compiere or SAGE style grab of revenue here. We find that any attempts to do so gets resentment from the consultants. I barely mange to "Extract" revenue out of the Territory agents. Yes this is a source of revenue, but we should rather develop the individuals than restrict them. This is one of the things that makes us different from SAGE. My plan here is to offer FREE training to consultants in an effort to beef up their skills.

2) Plugin  and CD sales. This is a revenue source, but also entails a commitment to distribution. Much of the revenue from this will go to the individuals who participate in the delivery. I will work on making this revenue strategy clearer. The aim here is to develop revenue opportunities for developers and also those people willing to finance this development.

3) Advertising. I am warming to the Google model. I do not agree with Malcolm that Google messes your privacy. The Spam comes from having your email address available in the Web. I have had my email address open for 10 years and my Spam problem is not unmanageable. The advantage of contact with legitimate leads far outweighs the ad for fake watches and biological modification. I foresee that most Web services will be driven by this model. The users are demanding free web services, how else to we pay for them?  As our community grows, this becomes self sustaining. We may well be long term competitors of the Web Advertisers.

4) The TurboCASH Community is valuable, and becomes more so as we grow. Let us start to use this fact to raise capital to fire its growth. We would do well at this point to expand our community to include investors, marketing and sales people.

Let us stick with our Byline:

While Other Accounting Packages cost you money, TurboCASH will help you make it.
