Found this on Tulane's website and found it midly encouraging...

"Tulane plans to keep tuition revenue that it has already received from
its students for the fall. 'That allows us to have some source of
revenue this fall, while we are closed,' he said."

Would this be for all undergrads as well as the professional schools?
An earlier post had suggested that students wishing to withdraw would
be entitled to a full refund, if for no other reason than the
University would be unable to fulfill their portion of the contract (a
fall education). I'm debating about withdrawing and re-applying next
year and was hoping a refund or release of loans would be granted if
requested. Anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks.

I'm not concerned about my tuition - they can have it. What I am
wondering about is my loan money for living expenses....still waiting
for someone to clarify when and if we'll ever get that back. Assuming
it can't be transferred till Accounts Receivable is up and running
again, but don't know when that'll be.

I, too, am wondering about getting my money for living expenses. I'm at
UMD and I have been told the financial aide office here is working on
it...though I agree with Lauren that it will probably have to wait till
Accts Receivable is back up.

As for tutition - see Pres. Cowen's message from today :

Also wanted to say that I miss you all and can't wait to see everyone
back in NOLA!!!
