All,

I have post Katrina question about the direction received from y'alls'
administration. While the undergraduate campus is closed, the
medical school is attempting to remain open and operate out of Houston.
Many people enrolled in my school (especially spouses) find the
administration selfish in their request for us to relocate to Houston
to complete coursework this semester ... as a fourth year readying to
graduate I am grateful to finish as a Tulane graduate (especially given
the $$$ I have put into this school!). The reason for this post is to
ask y'all about what policy the law school has taken. Are you
transfering programs/ acting as visiting students/ etc, in order for
you to complete your education? I want to see how you feel about their
decision in this arena. I know y'all use this post to communicate key
info during these trying times & I do not wish to interfere with that
-- I just hope to bring some insight to an increasingly tense situation
among some of my medical school classmates. Thanks and good luck to
everyone (especially with Rita on the horizon)!

The law school is allowing all students to attend other universities on
a "visiting" basis. Tulane's position (at least the law school) is
that we must pay full tuition to transfer credits. I think the policy
sucks. I would prefer to pay tuition at the school I'm attending for
the semester, rather than Tulane, but I understand their position as
well.
