I have some great news: the funding for the Peter Jordan of LocalFilms
has come through and we are setting up a date. (www.localfilms.org)
For the event, we'll need a location to be booked, food bought, and
lots of publicity. We need every one's help promoting this screening
and discussion. Caitlin, Arielle, Vijay and I are working on this and
we'll email more when we confirm a date. This is open to anyone to help.
Also, We hope that today's course advice was helpful to the folks who
stopped by. Jim, Arielle, and I enjoyed talking to you over pizza.
Lastly, there is an excellent film festival Apr. 6-8 in NYC. It
includes documentaries and full-length films. (See below for more
info) We have limited funding for people who would like to attend this
festival and then share their experience with the group. If
interested, reply to tufts.anthr...@gmail.com.
One more thing: email Sweta....@tufts.edu your information on
Anthropologists at local universities. If you already did, Thanks!
