April 16th: Introduction to Drupal
+ TDAC Social Meet-Up

Jared McFarland @jaredmcfarland (of Bookmans) will be giving a short presentation answering “What is Drupal”.  Come with questions in mind, and think about a Drupal User’s Group.  What types of activities or presentations would you like to see happen?

Where: 115 East Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85701 (map it)
When: Thursday, April 16th from 7pm until around 10pm.  The presentation will begin around 7:30pm and last about 30 minutes.

Drupal is a content management system which is used by organizations around the world, including our very own Bookmans and The UofA, to create dynamic and powerful websites.  Jared aims to lead a Drupal User's Group which will meet monthly to discuss best practices, code solutions, and offering help to those diving into the world of Drupal.

As always this meet-up is free, however we ask that you please bring some food or drinks to share.

TDAC items of note:

Have you setup your free TDAC profile yet?  Lance @simpledream has worked out the quirks so registering is now a snap.  Do it today >>

Do you tweet?  TDAC does, follow us >>

Would you like to work downtown?  There is a great space becoming available soon and we're entertaining the idea of making it into a TDAC collaborative space.  There is no A/C but rent will be cheap and you'll be close to everything downtown (Congress, Caffe Milano, Main Library, Poca Cosa, The Grill, Cafe54, Tooleys, and even the creative offices of Creative Slice and Tripwire Arts!).  If you're interested please post your thoughts on the Downtown Workspace group page >>
