changeling

So I just joined the group, looks like I missed last game :(  Is there anything I should know, and when can I make a character?  I have some VTM experience ans some tabletop experience, and I am currently reading the changeling books to get a better idea of what the group is about.

It's worth taking a look at the website, the Wiki, and any posts that are called 'The X Thread' to see more stuff about what's going on. 

The gist of it is, the PC's are all swearing up with a newish Freehold which, apparently, is run by a bunch of older, more powerful, crazier Changelings who have established themselves as Monarchs. People are running around trying to keep the others at bay, dig up old Motleys from Tucson's history, and that sort of thing. We have lots of quirky little systems (Like, the Character Binder, our Influence system, Scene Days, Etc) which we're pretty sure add to the game. 

Since you have a few weeks before the next game, you can hit me up privately for any help making a character, or i could toss some of the pre-gens we have at you as starting points. Just ping me and let me know what questions you have.
