At last night's meeting it seemed like a couple of people were
interested in profiling tools for Python.
I can put together a short 10 - 15 min talk about cProfile (http://
docs.python.org/library/profile.html
), timeit (
http://docs.python.org/
library/timeit.html), and kcachegrind (http://
kcachegrind.sourceforge.net/html/Home.html
) for next month's meeting.
I've successfully used these 3 simple tools to identify and fix the
bottlenecks in my Python code.

A short talk on cProfile would be great.
