The discussion is on the Songs of Solomon, and one member of the church
alludes to Songs 5:10, and asks what "ruddy" means (as per the King
James translation). Chaakambanyah, the teacher answering questions in
the thread, offers the following response:
"Ruddy does mean red, but there are more meanings to the word that Esau
don't reveal. It also means lively, Glowing, and Vivid."
The reality is that the *HEBREW* word employed is adom
(alef-dalet-vav-mem, or as they say in their spurious "LaShaWaN QaDaSh"
dialect, ah-da-wa-ma). It is the exact same spelling of the Hebrew
edom. Now this ICGJC teacher *claims* that "Esau" (i.e. the white man)
is hiding these other meanings (how convenient that they just make this
claim without making any attempt to back it up). Regardless, if we
accept Chaakambanyah's claim, then can we conclude that the name Edom
can mean "lively, Glowing, and Vivid"? Are Edomites, therefore,
"lively, Glowing, and Vivid"?
The title of this post, by the way, was motivated by combining the
implications of Chaakambanyah's claim with Jacob's statement in Genesis
33:10, which declares that seeing the face of Esau (i.e. Edom) is like
seeing the face of God. So the question then is: does the ICGJC affirm
that Edomites, therefore, "lively, Glowing, and Vivid" and have faces
like the face of God?

The subject of colours holds an important place in the Scriptures.
White occurs as the translation of various Hebrew words. It is applied
to milk ( Gen 49:12), manna ( Exd 16:31), snow ( Isa 1:18), horses (
Zec 1:8), raiment ( Ecc 9:8). Another Hebrew word so rendered is
applied to marble ( Est 1:6), and a cognate word to the lily ( Sgs
2:16). A different term, meaning "dazzling," is applied to the
countenance ( Sgs 5:10).

Furthermore the prophecies against Edom are expounded upon in Obadiah
v.4 that show further proof of who this vessel fitted for destruction
really is!!!

What we see here is an attempt at poisoning the well. Arguments
regarding the Bible (or any other subject) should stand on their own
merit rather than be judged based on /who/ employed them.

I was merely using it in a satirical sense. The ICGJC teacher (who
doesn't actually know Hebrew) indirectly claimed that the word he
pronounces "ahdawam" (Hebrew Adom & Edom) can mean radiant, lively,
vibrant, et cetera. Combining that with a passage that compares the
face of Esau (AKA Edom) to the face of God, I was poking a little fun
(hence the title of this thread).

Okay, let's discuss Jeremiah 14:2. First of all, even if we were to
overlook the spurious "Lashawan Qadash" pronunciation, you still
blundered with the Hebrew (and oddly I have seen this same mistake
committed by numerous Hebrew Israelites on the net). You forgot a
letter. The first word of what you transliterated "qadar" is actually
qadroo, or to keep this within the paradigm of "Lashawan Qadash," it
would be QaDaRWa. Note the 'Wa' at the end. This is a verb, not an
adjective, and there is no indication that it is describing the
necessary skin color of the Israelites. For a thorough breakdown of the

Of course, Genesis 25:25 does not claim to be a description of "white
people". That is merely your own exegesis. As was noted in the

...the word which is used to describe Esau in Genesis 25:25, is also
used to describe David in 1 Samuel 16:12. What I mean is, the same
Hebrew word is used: admonee. Furthermore, the Bible does not support
your claim that whites are Edomites. This is dealt with in greater

By the way, wouldn't Greeks be Edomites? Well, the Bible clearly
distinguishes the Greeks as descending from Japhet (i.e. the Greeks are
called Javan [Yawan] in the Hebrew Bible, and Javan was a descendant of
Japhet).

Your exegesis is clearly contradicted by the text itself. Notice that
the very passage you quoted above states that anyone who confesses that
Jesus has come in the flesh is of God. Employing that standard, the
literally millions of white people who confess precisely that are,
therefore, of God, and not of Antichrist.

ISUPK? Israeli SCHOOL of Universal Practical Knowledge? Didn't the
group change its name twice over in the last decade or so? I.E. Didn't
the ISUPK become the Israeli *CHURCH* of Universal Practical Knowledge
(so as to get tax exemption status)? Didn't it latter change its name
to the Israelite Church of God and Jesus Christ? Are you associated
with the same group? Or are you part of some splinter group? Just
curious...
