I know I'm still unpacking and catching up on sleep, but I didn't want to forget to get some reminders out for those that like to plan ahead.
Saturday, January 18th: initial cookie orders due to Lisa Caplan. Please coordinate with her to get your initial order. Her email address is li...@lawair.com Our recipient for the Gift of Caring boxes is Children's National Medical Center again. The goal the girls set was for each girl to see 10 boxes more than they did last year so that the troop can make it's overall goal of 3,000 boxes.
Sunday, January 26th: Troop Meeting. We will be working on the "Playing the Past" badge. In addition, in preparation for our service project to finish up the journey I'd like the girls to start working on the newsletter portion of the project. Each girl should do some research before the meeting to come up with a fact about hunger in the U.S. It can be hunger facing humans or animals. There are no other parameters for the fact. Have them put the fact on an index card and bring it to the meeting.
Cookie booths dates and locations are still be acquired. As soon as we have them, they'll be available for sign-up. I'll also put out sign-ups for the Encampment and the Service Unit Rollerskating event.

Reminder - Troop Meeting today!
We are back to our usual troop meeting location (Khan/Therrien household: 408 Calloway Ct).
