Gerhard,

We are committed to getting version 5 of iShell rolled out. We must
finish the deliverable of a game we are working, Yoostar. (It is
pretty cool all should check it out at http://www.yoostar.com) This
is our companies top priority right now. The final roll out of
yoostar has taken longer than expected. This delay has pushed back
the work on iShell 5.

iShell 5
- Will be compatible with the latest OSs.
- It will improve Internet access.
- Add SQLite support.
- Fix bugs.
- And be maintained for compatibility after the release.

After iShell 5 is complete we will be delivering future products on
our new fly platform. This is designed for to be fast and light
weight. It is able to pull off the game coding in yoostar and also
run on lite platforms like the iPhone. This will start small and grow
over time.

I hope this helps everyone understand our direction.

Thanks,
Matt Veenstra

Hi Matt, this is great to hear.  Can you clarify what this means?

- And be maintained for compatibility after the release.

Does this mean that even though there will be no feature additions to iShell in the future - that you still plan to maintain it to work with the latest Operating Systems?  If so that's fantastic news and would make us all very happy here as that is the critical thing for us going forward.

Also - will Kromo work with the new iShell that would be the only other critical piece for us.

-Brian
