Job title: Front End/UI Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 4 Months Contract to Hire

Looking US Citizen | Green Card Holders | EAD GC, Only

 

Description:

Project: This is for Employee Assistance Program. This solution involves a Member and Provider Portal, Case Management System, Claims Adjudication System, Payment System and Reporting.

 

Ideal Background: The biggest factor is culture fit. Someone who isn’t stuck on a role box but wants to learn and is willing to be a team member. Someone who is curious to learn new things and is able to ramp quickly on a big complex solution. Someone who can learn complicated systems very quickly.

 

TOP REQUIREMENTS:

Culture Fit

AEM, JavaScript, HTML 5

Restful APIs, wireframes, user engagement models

 

Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? Part of a Scrum team

10 person team of mixed skills

 

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?/ What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

Ability to work with Designer / High Fidelity Mockups

Experience with HTML(5) and best practices with markup / semantics

Accessibility – familiar with WCAG 2.0 Accessibility standards

Understanding of ARIA and screenreaders, and how to make a website accessible

CSS – Understanding of best practices / DRY coding principles / naming conventions

Knowledge of LESS / SCSS (very important)

Familiar with setting up Gulpfiles to compile LESS and SCSS into CSS

Understanding of the fundamental components of Javascript

Experience with any of the following frameworks

Angular JS

React JS

Vue JS

Knowledge on Agile

Sprints

User stories

Tasks/ Estimating

Retrospective

Sprint planning / grooming

Familiar with GIT / version control

Familiar with AEM (or similar content management system)

Node, js and NPM (these are important skills)
