Job title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Location: Shoreview, MN

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Role Description

This role will entail documenting person as, use cases, detailed requirements, user stories, and rough UI mock ups. This individual will be responsible for taking a new feature from concept to detailed definition through stakeholder interviews, solicitation of feedback, and translating needs into detailed requirements. This role will also be responsible for driving the overall requirements gathering and UAT workstreams of the product development process. This individual may also spend approx. 25% time on system configuration and training of business users.

 

Required competencies and experience:

8+ years in project requirements definition

3+ years working agile projects

3+ years experience writing user stories

Experience leveraging visualization tools (process maps, swimlane diagrams, etc.) to visually represent complex processes

Ability to communicate and capture needs from a diverse group of stakeholders

Ability to demonstrate agility by regularly responding to business needs and shifting priorities in a timely manner

Experience communicating requirements to a development team across cultures and time zones

Ability to leverage frameworks and processes to develop clear requirements from nebulous business needs

 

Preferred experience:

Experience creating UI mockups of new features and functionality

Experience working in a customer facing role

Some experience as a SCRUM Master on an agile team

Experience grooming a backlog and preparing for backlog prioritization meetings

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)/Azure DevOps

Experience with Kentico CMS or other CMS tools

Experience communicating regular metric-driven status updates to a leadership audience

Experience with digital marketing and campaign focused projects.
