Job title: Full-stack Software Engineer

Location: Rochester, MN

Duration: Long-Term Contract

 

We are continuing to develop local teams with our long-time healthcare customer in MN.  If you are an experienced Full-stack Software Engineer and want to have a REAL impact on the well-being of people across the globe, we want to hear from you.  Our requirements for this position are Java/J2EE/.Net back end and C#/Javascript/HTML5/Angular 2+ front-end experience.  In this role you will join a leading-edge Scrum team that develops critical applications and services used across multiple departments and practices.

 

The successful candidates for this position will be able to demonstrate experience developing software applications, data structures and process improvement.  This person will work with project leads, Scrum teams and QA to provide quality software that meets business requirements.  This person must be able to interact across teams and the customer to ensure common understanding of the requirements.  

 

Our target candidate has established experience in the following areas:

Proven experience in high-functioning and efficient Scrum development environments

Experience working in teams with DevOps culture with ability to jump into the tech stack where needed by the team or based on project need

Demonstrated ability to build high performance, multi-platform applications and robust APIs in an Agile environment

Proven back-end experience with technologies such as Java/J2EE/.Net

Experience with MVC framework Spring/Struts

Experience both consuming and exposing restful APIs using Python or C#

MS SQL Server and Oracle

Front end experience including HTML5, C#, JavaScript, Angular 2+ is preferred.

Potential interest/experience in cloud solutions – ex. AWS (EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, SQS, etc) or similar cloud platforms

Direct experience with Agile-friendly build tools

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are expected.
