Job title: Lead Full-Stack Java Developer
Location: Rochester, MN
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
We are continuing to develop local teams with our long-time healthcare customer in Rochester, MN. If you are an experienced Lead Developer with a background in Full-stack Software Engineering and want to have a REAL impact on the well-being of people across the globe, we want to hear from you. Our technical requirements for this position include Java/J2EE/.Net back end and C#/Javascript/HTML5/Angular 2+ front-end experience. In this role you will join a leading-edge Scrum team that develops critical applications and services used across multiple departments and practices.
The successful candidates for this position will be able to demonstrate experience in a lead development role for Agile teams as well as specific experience developing software applications, data structures and process improvement. This person will work with project leads, Scrum teams and QA to provide quality software that meets business requirements. This person must be able to interact across teams and the customer to ensure common understanding of the requirements.
Our target candidate has established experience the following areas:
Proven experience serving as a lead developer in high-functioning and efficient Scrum development environments
Experience working in teams with DevOps culture with ability to jump into the tech stack where needed by the team or based on project need
Demonstrated ability to build high performance, multi-platform applications and robust APIs in an Agile environment
Experience guiding team members in effective Automated QA activities
Experience with Micro Services
Proven back-end experience with technologies such as Java/J2EE/.Net
Experience with MVC framework Spring/Struts
Experience both consuming and exposing restful APIs using Python or C#
MS SQL Server and Oracle
Front end experience including HTML5, C#, JavaScript, Angular 2+ is preferred.
Direct experience with Agile-friendly build tools
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are expected.
