I have copied below the information that is on the Google doc created as a central place where everyone can add comments, make suggestions. It would also be useful if people could add items which they may be able to bring, or if you could email Ian/myself. We'll create a wish list and send that separately.

Transition Woking Event 21st April 2012Items for inclusion:- A list and pen so that we can take people’s details (name, email address, telephone no, areas of interest).
- Transition Town material. Transition Town Manual x2 (Ian & Susie).
Please could you list other books that you don’t mind bringing along as information:- Films: Transition, Peak Oil, Permaculture, Sustainable Transport (obv only if equipment available to show). To be shown at first meeting following Event as a means to encourage people to attend.
- Display showing garden-share scheme, including pictures with explanation.
Do we have pictures that can be printed and laminated with a bit of text? Will attend and do some activities e.g. bee box making. Contact: IanIf anyone visiting local garden centres, could they ask for seeds that may be past their
best by date etc.
Create small pots from newspaper (Beth has paper pot maker), fill with compost, and plant a seed. Will need seeds, compost, newspaper and seed markers (wooden coffee
stirrers work well!)
- Other organisations with shared interest (ecological, environmental, reskilling, etc)
Ian will contact the Bicycle Recycling people at Goldsworth Park. Ask them about possibility of trying to make a smoothie bike!
- Kids creative space - Transition Poster Making?
Will need paper, crayons, any craft materials?- Workshops/brainstorms on the cafe idea, awareness raising, identifying blocks to progress etc
Could this be for another Transition Town event? Possibly after showing film?- Skills share - start a list directory of the skills people can offer.
- Refreshments i.e food to share, tea
- Eat local - display of local producers and suppliers

Transition - Yes there is a lot of external stuff to change but what
about the inner change and the emotional/psychological/spiritual
response to the climate crisis. This is an area to share words, poetry
and other musings on this subject.
