Dear LA21 Members.
Some of you will be aware that Woking LA21 has made a range of contributions to the Oak Tree House Eco Home in Knaphill over the past few years (www.actionsurrey.org/house).
The latest concept is to make the garden more hospitable to hedgehogs. Alison Daykin has visited the garden and identified a series simple improvements that could be made (attached). Alison is looking for one or two people who be can be available for around
two hours this Saturday morning from 10am to help to move some logs and branches from the nearby Basingstoke Canal and place them in the garden, and also to help with creating two small access holes in the gate and fence at the house. Please bear in mind
that this is potentially quite physical work. It would be advantage if you have a car that could be used to help to transport some logs and branches, and also if you have a jig-saw that can be used! Please can you let me know if you can help and I will put
you in contact with Alison.
In case it is of interest to you or your contacts this Saturday, there is a free energy advice
surgery at Oak Tree House (details also attached). Please feel free to pass this on or to register if it is of interest.
Best Regards, Tim
