Does Essex count as London in this forum? Does one have to be
physically gigging to chat in this forum? What if I've been a bit crap
and not actually been to a gig this year?
Hi Jay, thought I'd join as we go way back but I've not got a great
deal to add at the present time :)
My band will have a myspace set up shortly. We're still waiting to get
round to recording something for it so I'll wait until then to start
screaming the address at anyone who goes near me. Right now it's not a
very exciting page.

Band to look out for - "Street Light Youth" - sure to be a big thing
in the months/ years to come so I am told. Rocky, melodic and upbeat
from a group of 16-18 yr olds (without being Emo). Very impressive.

Hey JonoMac, great to hear from you!

yeah, essex is good....Its where I was born so I can hardly be
prejudice! You dont have to be gigging, one of the perks of somehting
liek this is that if you are looking for gigs or help recording, ideas
etc etc you can just ask everyone for info and then hopefully that
will ge tyou on your way to world domination!....And to be
honest...I've been a bit lame on the gig front and I know one of our
members in particular will allready know that....Its all about keeping
the scene alive which is different to all of the tat in the media....
( i dont htink it's ALL tat by the way... ;) ) .

Whats your band like? you shoudl check out some stuff im involved in,
theres quite a variety so dont let one prejudice you against another

in Harlow....I'll check out street light youth when i get 5mins and
let you know what i think :) If you need any help recording feel free
to post messeges asking questions and stuff! If you can, get as many
peopel to join up as possible so we can get some intersting
discussions going!
