Rails 5 status

Anyone done much work on moving off of 4.2 to 5.x? I was starting to work through it, but wanted to see what's been done.

Also, it may make sense to create a new branch so more than one person can work on the transition. Thoughts?

The most recent attempt is at https://github.com/TracksApp/tracks/pull/2084 and is abandoned at this point. 

Having a branch for the work would be best, unless it turns out to be a simple upgrade.
